Static, but relative KPI targets

Hi,

I'd like to use KPI and target based visualisations, but am struggling how to do (what I think is) a common, straightforward task!

Our sales team have fixed targets - for simplicity, let's say $120,000 in 2023. If the visualisation is shown in a monthly filter, the target would be $10,000, if on a quarter view, the target is $30,000. If on a daily view, it'll be ~$329, etc.

I've seen lots of articles comparing to the previous year, but in sales that is often moot. There's a target for the year and we want to measure progress against it.

We have a date table with a link to a sale event table, which in turn has the sales agent and value data (along with a bunch of other stuff). It feels like it should be very simple, but I can't fathom where to put the target, or how to make it relative to the time period being viewed.
