Start a cloud flow from a Power BI report
I am trying to start a cloud flow from a Power BI report but I am running into some issues.
I can add the Power Automate Visual in the Power BI Report from the Power BI Desktop version and add data as well without any issues. However, after I selected “Edit” in the More Options (…) menu when I try to follow Step 2 “Set Up your Flow” in the instructions, I get a loading screen that never finishes loading. It cannot connect to the Power Automate site to set up a flow. Is there a way to find the cause of this issue? How should I proceed.
The instructions in question:
The loading screen I get:
Hi wangroche ,
First make sure you are logged into Power BI Desktop with your Power Automate account.
The Power Automate Visual is slow to respond, so if it takes a long time to load, click "Back to report" and re-edit. Or remove the visual and re-add it.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.

I think this is the problem.
Additionally I am using the government version of Power BI but I don’t know if that is contributing to the problem or not.
The Microsoft documentation mentions that the visual isn't supported in sovereign clouds.

Hi Winniz,
Thanks for your reply – Unfortunately I confirmed that I am logged in and removing and re-adding the visual did not resolve the issue. There is no error message, the flow creator simply never loads.
My expected result is the following page loading:
However, I only get this screen and I have left it to load for two hours and nothing happens:
I have tried this on both desktop and web browser. I made sure the desktop app is the latest version as well. Additionally I am using the government version of Power BI but I don’t know if that is contributing to the problem or not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
