Situation: On Power Bi desktop as well Service I am using standard slicers with Transaction Date with a range from 4/24/2024 to 4/24/2025 with 'Slicer settings' > Options > Style as 'Between'.
Problem: On slicers I am able to select dates which are not within the range of dates in a given column. As an example, I can select date range from 1/1/2020 to 2/2/2020. Other 'style' options shows correct range. Only 'Between' style has issue.
Expected solution: I want date range on slicers to match the input field like Slicers should not show dates out of 4/24/2024 to 4/24/2025 range.

@dcpatel1 If I create a Dates table like this:
Dates = CALENDAR( DATE( 2024, 4, 24 ), DATE( 2025, 4, 25 ) )
The between slicer only lets me pick dates included in that range unless I manually type a date into the input boxes. Is that what you are referring to?
Hi @dcpatel1
What do you mean by this?
I want date range on slicers to match the input field like Slicers should not show dates out of 4/24/2024 to 4/24/2025 range.
If you're referring to the slicer and other visuals, make sure it is set to filter.
This only works if the filter comes from the same table, or if there's a valid relationship where the filter direction flows from the year slicer's table to the date slicer's table.
