Stacked column chart - cannot see type for Y axis

I am using a field on the y axis which is numerical 1-10, the data type is set as whole number in the edit queries and modelling sections. In the format section for the visual i cannot see the option under the y axis for type (continuous or categorical), the type placeholder is not showing. I have tried amending the data type but still cannot see the option, any ideas on how to fix this?

    Yes, y axis there is no option, but it should be built automatically with measure

      ok so not sure what to add for the measure, i want the y axis to show 1-10.

       

      Would create a separate table with values and then create a relationship between the existing table?
