Stacked Bar Graph with 2 Values with Percentages Calculated from the Wrong Grand Total
Hello Everyone,
I'm a bit new to Power BI and I'm having trouble generating a stacked bar graph of percentages of employment figures for two different types of employment. I received these percentages by taking the percentage of the grand total of the two columns of data. However, the percentages sum to 200% instead of 100%.
I tried to work around this by manually calculating a couple new variables for direct and indirect employment as a share of total employment (which is simply the sum of direct and indirect employment), then constructing a stacked bar graph with the averages/median of the two values. However, these shares do not sum to 1 either:
I'm not sure what to do next. My percentage shares for both values must sum to 1 or 100%. Can someone help me resolve this issue? I would really appreciate it!

snaildog , The show total option total is always a sum. Use the same measure as a line(Stacked line visual). and then show the label for the line. Under the shape of the line make the width 0. That should help
