Hi, I`m about to get involved in a major project where a client has scores of Sportfire reports that they need to move over to Power BI due to licensing costs. I`ve spent some time searching the web ...

Sorry, there isn't a direct, automated tool within Power BI that can convert Spotfire reports into Power BI reports.
You must connect the same data source and create it from scratch in Power BI.
