Splitting quarterly sales

Hi all

I have a sql Server Database with different tables including item codes, item groups and Sales.

Some articles are being invoiced at the beginning of a quarter in advance.  The sales amounts of these articles in January, April, July and October must be divided by 3 and distributed To the next 2 months.

For example when there is a revenue of 300 in January I would like to See 100 in January, February and March.

I found a way to do this in Power Query Editor but due to many steps with combined and merged tables it became very slow (45 minutes minimum to see the Data in Power Query Editor).

Is there a DAX expression that distributes the numbers like that in a measure?

Thank you very much 😊

Best Regards

Michael

Hi, @MS2121

I have created a sample data by myself to demonstrate your question.

Please kindly correct me if I wrongly understood.

I believe there are some differentiation codes between normal sales and early sales.

I added normal sales as usual.

I added early sales as per your inquiries.

Please kindly have a look at the below link, which is the sample pbix file.

I hope it helps.
