Split values by a category in a different column

I my power bi report I have a matrix in which i have calculated a column that is a summary of all values in column b however now i want to split this column by category (column a) thus i want to have to separate columns (for category 1 & 2) that would have the identical value in total.

My data look roughly liked this:

For your case, You need to add an index column in the dataset as a "primary key", then drag this index column in the Rows field of matrix, Then it will meet your requirement,
