Source name transfer from column to new column

Hi,

I have 2 tables and I want to transfer different lead source text  from one column in a table to a new column in a different table.

Is there a dax example function which will allow me to do that.

Thanks,

Harry B

Hi @HarryB

If you have the same columns between the two tables, and the column names and column types are the same, you can use the Merge queries feature directly in Power Query

Merge queries overview - Power Query | Microsoft Learn

If the two tables do not have the same columns, but there are corresponding relationships, you may be able to use the Addcolumns() function, please refer to the following link for details

ADDCOLUMNS function (DAX) - DAX | Microsoft Learn

If the suggestion above can not meet your requirements, can you follow some sample data or pictures?

Best Regards,

Yolo Zhu

@HarryB , refer 4 ways (related, relatedtable, lookupvalue, sumx/minx/maxx with filter) to copy data from one table to another

In power query you can merge and take the column
