Sorting by month number not working

Ive no idea what Im doing wrong - all I want it sorted from Jan-Dec

    Hi michellerob2000 ,

     

    In Power BI Desktop, replace Month Name with Month. If Sum of Month is displayed, remember to select "Don't summarized".

     

    Now, click on the upper right corner of Month to sort.

    Make another column and combine the year & month then sort the month name column by this calculated column

      Just create another column Month+Year Number colmn and then sort the column by this

    Hi michellerob2000 ,

     

    In Power BI, if you use words to represent months instead of numbers, they are sorted by the first letter of the word.

     

    If you want to sort from January to December, you might consider using Arabic numerals to represent the months.
