I am setting up my visualizations to show the past year month by month. I have used the filters to limit the data to the past year, but would like the months sorted in order of how recent they were. For example, since it is February, I would like my visual's X axis to be sorted like Feb 2017, Mar 2017, Apr 2017, May 2017,..., Jan 2018, Feb 2018. I also would like to do the same thing with day by day data for the past month 27th, 28th, 29th,..., 25th, 26th.
Hi @jws123,
What kind of data do you have?
Did you try the feature as the snapshot shows?
What's the status now?
Best Regards,
Dale
I am working with data from a DirectQuery in DateTime format. I have tried sorting by the month number but get the order 1, 10, 11, 12, 2, ..., 9.
Hello,
Direct Query doesn't support time intelligence.

Okay. I figured a way to get it to work by numbering the months compared to the current month then sorting the visual based off of this set of numbers. Thanks for the help.
