Sorting by 2 factors
Hi,
I have this graph:
I would like to sort it by Month Name and also the highest value, meaning that, the MAINBOARD category would be the one on the leftside, but inside this category, it would firstly appear April, then May and lastly June, and then so on and so forth with HINGE UP, RAW PANEL, etc.
These values are the sum of a column called Column1, and the Month Names for the X axis I have a DIM table with the month number sorted, and a relationship created with this month name and the one from the fact table.

As per testing a column chart's legend can be sorted in descending or ascending order only but not based on its relative value. You can try the approach in the attached pbix which uses a disconnected table. The legends and the column chart are two separate visuals.

Hi,
Conver the visual to a table visual and ensure that the month field is dragged from the Calendar table. Click on the heading of the field to sort it in ascendong order. Now press the Ctrl key and click on the month to sort it in ascending order. Now switch the visual to a column chart.
