Sorting Waterfall Chart

Does anyone know how I would sort this waterfall chart by month and year?

January is 2021 the other months are 2020. I would like the chart to be ordered by month with the last month being January  because it is in 2021

Hi, @dw700d 

You can try to create a column with sort order as its value. Then sort Month column by this new column. For more details, you can refer Sort a Column with a Custom Order in Power BI.

@dw700d , For that you have use Month Year.

Month Year = FORMAT([Date],"mmmm-yyyy")
Month Year sort = FORMAT([Date],"yyyymm")

and sort month uesr on Month year sort
