I'm sure I'm overlooking something obvious but when displaying survey data by 'group' (text field with either A, B, C, D but also tried 'group 1', 'group A' etc). The slicer will show it correctly alphabetised but any charts will show in the incorrect order.
The groups are loosely linked to the order of when the survey was issued so need to view in order.
Have tried sort by column itself and the original collector ID which is unique per group but no luck

You can add to your group index column the wanted order and sort it by this column
