Hi i have sales data with 4 columns(Date, Expected, Actual, and Returns). I created clustered bar chart with a line.
For better readerbility, changed the full month name to month with 3 letters. After setting short month name i cant change the order of the date.
here i attached the sample pbix file.

I tried both method but didn't give the expected result
It's sorted by alphabetical order. So quick solution : add another calculated column to give Month number which is MONTH(Sales[Date]) and use 'Sort by column' feature on the ShortMonth column.

The best solution is to create a calendar table and link it with 1:m relationship to Sales table. Create the appropriate columns in Calendar table (Month, Yr, ShortMonth, monthNum etc) and use 'Sort by column' if required.
