Sort tiles in filter pane not possible

Sorry with sort i mean sort individually and not alphabetical:

Before this was always possible and makes sense to bring it in a logical sequence for the enduser.

Thanks i reported an issue. That was possible as long as i know the filter pane 🙂

Definetly an issue, I came here to find a solution for the same - need this fixed!

The issue with the custom sort functionality in the filters pane has been reproduced at least since the June 2023 update from version 2.118.621.0.

An update to latest 2.118.828.0 doesn't fix it.

I found a few related topics:

But overall, as I understand, a few members reported it internally, and we all look forward to updates.

My recommendation for how to deal with this issue:

1. Wait for the July update - looks like the issue should be fixed there;
2. Downgrade to the May version;
3. Add a prefix to the name of the filter(like [1 filter name], [2 filter name]) and sort alphabetically - not elegant but simple;
4. Use my workaround:
   - step 1: select your visual and open the filter pane;
   - step 2: rename your filter item(add number prefix) and sort alphabetically;
   - step 3: try changing sorting by drag and drop - you don't get any result, but only change sorting to custom;
   - step 4: rename your filter item back and save your result;

Thanks for the informations. To avoid extra affort i would wait for the update. But maybe it will help others. Good that it is accepted now.

I wasn't able to re-arrange my filters in the filterpane. However, after using the alphabetical sort, I could re-arrange the filters manually again. Weird error.
