I would like to sort a matrix column date in descending order. I am using the 'date' hierchary 'year
'month'. I have tried playing around with sorting that column by yyyymm, yyyy, mm, etc.
But I can't get the following results
Feb2021 Jan2021 Dec2020 Nov2020 etc....etc.... (12 rolling months)
instead I am getting
Jan2020 Jan2021 Feb2020 Mar2020 etc...
or
Feb2021 Jan2021 Jan2020 Feb2020 etc..
Any help is appreciated

I did that and that sort correctly but I still need to accomplish the 2 year period and in descending order. Example
Feb2021 Jan2021 Dec2020. I can't get Dec2020 come right after Jan2021.
Please check in the Table view whether your data type about the date is in text format, if it is in text format, it will also cause this problem.
Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
Caitlyn Yan
