Sort a clustered Column chart drilled down based on numerical value

I have a dataset that contains the cloud utilisation of my organisation and I am trying to achieve something like this;

I am trying to show the monthly cost of a subscription in a bar, but then I would like to split the cost bar by environments. In short I need to show the cost for a subscription month by month (subscription and month year column is added in the x axis as a hierarchy) and also split the monthly cost(Y-axis) by different environments(legend).

I have created a bookmark with this to keep it drilled down and this is working all fine. But the thing is once this done I can only sort the chart by subscription month or the cost, and once this is done it looks something like this;

Sorting by the X axis gives the below ;

and sorting by Y axis gives the below(I loose the grouping I had earlier);

I need to be able to have the kind of bins that I already have but I need to sort by cost. Kind of a group by order by in SQL.

I need to group it by Subscription - Month and then sort it by Cost. I cant figure this out for the love of God.

Can anyone help me out here? Feel free to ask more questions if you need any clarifications
