Sort Month Name by Month Year ID Column

Hi all,   I am looking to sort my line graph by Month Name but have multiple years worth of data. Currently it is sorted by Month number and the most recent year is being sorted currectly, but the ...

HI aoc,

it is possible to sort a column by another column.

 

step 1: select your column "Month Name"

step 2: go to column tools

step 3: sort by column (select your MonthId)

 

After that it should work.

I have it being sorted by Month ID right now, and am getting the sorting shown in the photo.

    Could you please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file.
