Sort 2 columns : By year and a Measure (Percentage)

Hi

I want to sort a visual by year and Percentage i.e. 2019 highest % to lowest, ignore other years, I tired in power query and re-creating the visual but it is not working within the visual

My next approach is to use Dax

% = Divide(SUM('IHFD vwCharts'[Numerator]),SUM('IHFD vwCharts'[Denominator]))

I presume I use RANKX ? Is it possible to sort by a column and measure?

Thanks

  • Hi, carlol

    I'd like to suggest you use 'multiple columns sort' feature. Based on your description, I created data to reproduce your scenario.

    IHFD vwCharts:

    You may create a calculated column as below.

    Percentage = 'IHFD vwCharts'[Numerator]/'IHFD vwCharts'[Denominator]

    To add more columns to the sort order, Shift + click the column header you would like to add next in the sort order.

    For further information, you may refer to the document .

    Best Regards

    Allan
