Something Went Wrong

I've spent the day building a report in Power BI desktop, only for it to throw an error at me at the end of the day. And with no access to the auto recover file, I'm stuck. I'm being hit with an erro...

    In my particular case, the resolution to this lay in the visual. The error was being thrown when the visual was rendering. Simply switching the affected visual to an alternative type (in this case Matrix>Stacked Bar Chart) and then back (Stacked Bar Chart>Matrix) resolve the issue. The error message does not identify which visual is affected, so where there is more than one visual on a page, it may be a case of trial and error in trying to fix this.
