Hello everyone
We have several Power BI reports that pull data from a Dynamics 365 Dataverse environment.
Several of our users can see certain visuals on the reports but not all the visuals. An example is shown below:
Users can see these two visuals:
...but several other visuals appear like this:
When the users click on See details they receive the following:
The users having the problem do have a Power BI Pro licence but do not have a Dynamics licence.
So, my questions are:
- Why can the users see some visuals / data and not others?
- Do they need a Dynamics licence to see all the visuals / data? If so, why is some data currently visible and some data not?
- Are there any changes that I need to make to the Power BI Reports / App in order to make these fully work?
If the users couldn't see any visuals or data then I could understand the problem, but the fact they can see some visuals and data only has confused me.
Many thanks
Jon
Hi @Ritaf1983
Apologies for the very late respone to your message. Unfortunately other work issues took over this one!
No, the reports in question do not use RLS. Do you have any other ideas as to why this might be happening?
Many thanks
Jon
Hi @jonclay
Do your reports have RLS ?
It seems like a role issue...
