Here is an example of a scenario I am trying to solve with some dummy data provided. Lets say I have three tables.
Table 1 is a Date Dimension table
Table 2 is a Dimension table for my store locations. One of the columns is a date that marks when the "executives" met with the manager to give them a sales pep talk.
Table 3 is a Fact table that records the sales record for a certain day and a certain location. Lets pretend that these records date back to the last decade.
I am trying to calculate what the average daily sales were for a certain store between the current date and when the sales pep talk with the manager took place.
Something along the lines of
Measure =
CALCULATE(
AVERAGE(Table 2[Sales]),
DATESBETWEEN(TODAY(), Executive Date)
