Social Media Dashboard

Hi there - PBI newbie here.

For one of my first projects i'd like to create a dashboard that aggregates all KPIs and trends for a company from the following social media platforms:

- Instagram
- Facebook
- Twitter
- Tiktok (possibly?)

The idea is to have a dashboard on PBI Service that gives a high level overview of social media performance and ad campaigns and then drill through to individual reports focusing on each social media channel.

I was just wondering if there are any real world examples of powerbi users creating this type of dashboard and if i should be wary of any limitations with this type of project.

Any feedback would be highly appreacted.

Really interesting idea. I think this is quite real, especially since it will become more convenient to use social media. I have been researching and helping in the development of social networks for a long time here https://writingbros.com/essay-examples/social-issues/  I take information about social problems in order to adjust the social network to users

It pretty easy to do, https://windsor.ai/microsoft-power-bi-linkedin-ads-report-dashboard-template/

Hi,

If you need combine all social media into one and get the insights then you need to build a semantic layer to collect all the data and store it for analytics but there are some refereneces when you want to access one at a time.

Ref - Solved: Social Media Analytics (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter... - Microsoft Power BI Community

Thanks

Hi @Hugo_Wass ,

I recommend you check out the new Metrics feature, it allows you to group KPIs within your organisation:  https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-goals-is-now-metrics-and-is-moving-to-ga/

I also suggest the Power BI gallery if you are looking for some examples of https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Galleries/ct-p/PBI_Comm_Galleries
