    Hi madadiva

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric community forum.

The issue occurs due to the use of the new ADBC‑based Snowflake connector implementation, which is currently associated with authentication inconsistencies in certain scenarios.

As a troubleshooting step, please try enabling “Use legacy Snowflake connector implementation” under:

File → Options and settings → Options → Preview features.

After enabling this option, restart Power BI Desktop and attempt the connection again.

If the connection succeeds when using the legacy implementation, this would indicate that the issue is likely related to the newer ADBC‑based Snowflake connector implementation.

Please note that the Snowflake Semantic Views connector depends on the new connector implementation and is therefore not expected to function in legacy mode. If Semantic Views are required and authentication continues to fail, further investigation may be needed into the Snowflake OAuth/SSO configuration, or the behavior may be attributable to the current preview status of the connector.

Please let us know the outcome after testing.

If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out and we'll be glad to assist.

    Regards,
