Snowflake connection stuck on refresh

Hi,

I have a snowflake direct import dataset connected to power bi.  In the desktop app, I can no longer refresh it.  It gets stuck on refresh after it loads the expected number of rows.  I have tried clearing the cache, restarting my computer, restarting power bi but nothing works.  I tried having it run for 24 hours and that didn't work either.  The dataset has refreshed just fine before, and in snowflake it says the query was a success, taking about 9 minutes.

If you're experiencing refresh issues with your Snowflake dataset in Power BI Desktop, consider the following steps:

Roll Back or Patch Power BI Desktop Some recent builds may have Snowflake connector bugs. Try rolling back to a previous version or install the latest patch if available.
Switch to Snowflake ODBC Driver The built-in connector has known limitations with MFA and caching. Using the Snowflake ODBC Driver can provide more stability. Ensure you install the driver architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) that matches your Power BI Desktop setup. Power Query Snowflake connector - Power Query | Microsoft Learn
Verify Gateway Updates If a gateway is part of your setup, make sure it's up-to-date. An outdated gateway, even if appearing connected can still block refreshes. ODBC Driver | Snowflake Documentation
