Snap to Grid - change grid size?

Is there a way to make the grid size smaller?  I like the snap to grid feature but would like to make the grids with smaller options so some of the visuals will be closer together. 

 

I'm building a report with several drop downs and I would like for them to be stacked a little closer together without me having to tediously move and size them with the X ,Y, Height, Width under the General section for each visual.

    Currently, it is not possible to change the grid size, there is an idea about this issue, please vote it up.

    You could increase the resolution of the report. This is by default 16:9 (1080x720). You can use Custom size and increase to for instance 1920x1080.

    Zoom In. The snapping will let you get your elements closer together. Just had the same issue where I zoomed out and couldn't figure out why the snapping distance was all larger all of a sudden and nothing lined up.

    Unfortunately, this still isn't possible. There are workarounds (e.g., creating grid shapes that you use to align), but it is a pain to maintain or change. It would be REALLY helpful if the PBI team would add this as it would go a long way in making it easier to maintain/standardize report designs at scale for numerous reports in an org.
