SmartFilter & Chiclets not displaying correct text initially

I have a SmartFilter visual that is not displaying options correctly until filtering another visual or selecting one of the bogus values multiple times. It seems like a very strange text formatting issue. This happens both with SmartFilter & chiclets visuals, and only to one field (Brand). The values it is displaying do not exist in the source table. Snapshots below are of the same SmartFilter.

    I can't reproduce this issue.

     

     

     

    What's the data type of the field you put in SmartFilter? Can you share some sample data or .pbix?
