Do you need measures associated with a specific visual on the page? Or can you use any measures on a page?
If you have to have a related visual, and a related measure, I suppose I could add and then hide?

You can either summarize a visual (by right clicking summarize) but you do need visuals on the page for it to summarise. Add all your visuals and then add the smart narrative. You could hide by using the selection pane.
