Slow publish

Was curious whether when the online version of a report is having its scheduled refresh, the publish of a new version from Desktop becomes slower. Like 3 or 4 times? Could that be true?

    Tough to say, would have to run experiments. Could be true. Might make some logical amount of sense if you get some dataset locking going on. Actually wouldn't surprise me if you couldn't get it published until after the dataset refreshed.

      It just sometimes doesn't do it, other times it does. This explanation fits best in the symptoms pattern. Got quite a large report of 400 MB going to 4 GB with the incremental refresh, so any changes in publish speed are quite noticable :).
