Good morning,
I noriced that with each release, the PBI Desktop has been getting slower and slower. I have pretty decent system i7, 16gb ram, ssd drive, windows 10 - however, every time, I'm typing a DAX formula - it's very slow. Every time, I'm trying to update data model, it's slow. I'm sort of used to it, but it's not ideal development experience, it's not as slow as Visual Studio, but could be definitely be more robust. The datasets are in different modes (mixed / live / import).
Does anyone else have a similar experience?
Thank you!

I have pretty much the exact same spec of PC and I'm encountering the same performance issues too, even when building basic new reports. I put it down to either the newer versions introducing inadvertant performance hits, or it's something to do with my recent switch to using the CDS connector rather than the Dynamics connector. Even carrying out the most simple of tasks is now painfully slow.
