Slider including dates outside range when max selected

I have a slider slicer with a date field. I have the slicer filtered for only this year. When I include 1/1/2021 however, it seems to include all dates from previous years and not filter anything. An...

Anonymous : How are you filtering the slicer for only this year? can you share a screenshot?

ponnusamy I using a visual level filter on the slicer and setting it to only this year.
