Slicing Data from multiple columns/tables
Afternoon All,
We have a data set looking at measuring the number of data connections between two people. For instance, Person A might have a connection with 3 People in a separate data set.
What we would like to do is create a slicer that allows you to select a range of people with a particular number of connections. For example, Show people with between 5 and 10 connections.
This already is coming through on the table of data against each person but how would we do this to give a slicer range?
What would be the DAX formula to calculate this?
This cannot be done with powerquery (I think) as the 2 data sources sit in different data sets, and have a linked relationship by a unique reference number.

According to your description, here are my steps you can follow as a solution.
(1) My test data is the same as yours.
(2) We can create a calculated column.
count of connections to people b = COUNTROWS(FILTER('Table','Table'[Person A]=EARLIER('Table'[Person A])))(3) Then the result is as follows.
If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. Thank you.
