Slicers sync/unsync

I have a report with four pages.

There is a slicer Category on all of them.

I want this slicer to be synchronized on pages 1 & 2, and also on 3 & 4.

If I select Category A on page 1 it should affect page 2 but not 3 and 4.

If I select Category A on page 3 it should affect page 4 but not 1 and 2.

Slicer uses the same field on all pages and has the same name.

How to do it?

EDIT: I know Sync Slicers function. It's not solving my issue.

Hi @AnetaK ,

I suggest you to use [Category] column from different table in P1 and P3.

For example:

Here I create two category slicer table and relationship is as below.

P1&P2:

Hi @AnetaK

We have a beatiful option called Sync Slicers in Power BI desktop by using that, you can achieve it.

suparnababu8_0-1728281945471.png

On top ribbon bar view-->click on Syn Slicers option

After clicking on Syn Slicers option, you'll get below window near by to filters pane.

Then, in your report you have to select any slicer, thenIt will show below like this

So, here you can choose which filter should work on which pages by selecting above option.

If you need addition info..pls go through below

Thank you for answering.

I know this option, it's not working in my case.

I need something more advanced.

Feel free to email me with any of your BI needs.

This link shows how to synchronize separare slicers while I have one slicer, same field on all pages.

When I create a new slicer on a page it automatically is treated as the same one.

I can not use them as separate.

Could anyone try to recreate my issue in pbix?
