Slicers: selected values persistence

Hi all

suppose you have two depending slicers A (single selection) and B, with some dependency;

with value A1 selected, you can select values B1, B2,

with value A2 selected, you can select values B3, B4.

Suppose you have selected B1;

when you switch from A1 to A2, slicer B present B2 and B3, unchecked, followed by B1, checked.

I understand this behaviour, but in some cases I would like a reset of slicer B on change of selection on slicer A;

is there a way to obtain this?

Using a single slicer with two columns doesn't fit my needs.

As far as I know, reset slicer is not supported in power bi currently, you can try to create a bookmark which stores the initial status of the slicer.

You can vote for this idea or create a new idea here to help us improve power bi and make this feature coming sooner.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
