Slicers only showing Relevant Values

I used to work with Tableau and now transitioning to Power BI.

One tool that I found really useful in Tableau was the ability to be able to have a filter on a dashboard that would only show the options for the "relevant values".

i.e. if filter on a School then the filter would change to only show the pupils at that school or subjects being taught at that school etc.

However, I can't seem to find a similar tool in Power BI to be able to do that resulting in slicers that show options that are not relevant to the data. 

Is this something that is possible in Power BI?
