Did you try clearing the cache and republishing the report to a new test workspace to see if that works?
ArchStantonThanks, it turned out to be user error as another colleague did manage to clear the slicers.
My manager had accidentally 'drilled down' into a chart which is why the 'clear all slicers' button was not resetting the visuals.
