Hi,
I am having trouble with the following example (datas are at the bottom of my post) :
Two slicers on which you can only select one value.
If I select "Apple", then "Vegetable" disappears from the "Family" slicer and I can't make it reappear.
The first solution I found is to disable the interaction between them :
By doing that, I can have this situation :
I select "Vegetable" > "Carrot" and then I switch to "Fruit". Carrot remains selected.
Is there a way to unselect "Carrot" when I change to "Fruit" ?
I tried to make a simple exemple. And sorry for my English which may not be very good.
Thank you for your help !
PS : Here are my data :
Family | Item |
Fruit | Apple |
Fruit | Orange |
Fruit | Peach |
Vegetable | Carrot |
Vegetable | Lettuce |

Hi @Uhrond ,
To my knowledge, when you disable the interactions(Item --> Family) between the two slicers, then no matter what value is selected in the Item slicer, it will not affect the Family’s.
You could just use a single slicer to put Family and Item together:

If I choose multi-select, I will potentially display false data in my views by adding carrot data and apple data. These data are independent and summing them does not make sense.
Thanks
