Slicers and Bookmarks

Hey all.

I have a requirement where some of my users want to have relative slicers and some want a custom date range. I thought I had solved the problem by creating each and then I used bookmarks to toggle between them. The only problem is that Power BI uses both sets of slicers at all times. For example when I have the relative showing and the custom hidden it filters based off of both of them and vice versa.

Is it possible to "turn off" the hidden slicer so that only the visible slicer is filtering the report?

James

Hi @Anonymous ,

I have replicated bookmarks and the dates returned are re-set when I toggle between Relative and Custom. You may need to tick the 'Data" setting under the Bookmarks option.

Here are screenshots.

Let me know if you need the sample file to trial.

Thanks,
