Slicers & Bookmarks
Hi everyone!
I have bookmarks set up to show different detail tables for divisions
The way im doing this is on the graphs tab there are different buttons that lead to a hidden detail tab. Each button hides other divisions. Example if you select central detail tab, the bookmark will hide the other 5 tables for the other divisions and only show central.
I'm wondering if there's a way that instead of having to have 6 separate tables and hiding them with the bookmarks, can a button on the graph page take me to the detail page and automatically filter the table? I haven't been able to to figure it out but this would be extremely helpful.
Also note - I cannot use the drill through filter because the chart and detail table aren't necessarily related. The graph uses a custom x axis and the bar charts are 3 different formulas. All of which are not used in the detail tables.

Although it doesn't diverge much from your actual solution, if you switch the table to a matrix (in case you don't have it as a matrix already) you can save a bookmark for the state of the matrix (meaning, how much detail is currently showing). You just need to ensure to have the scope you desire, select the visual and save a bookmark for its current state.
