Slicer with Textbox to filter for multiple values

Hello,

I am trying to implement a multi-select slicer that allows the user to enter comma seperated values in a text box as opposed to clicking/searching for each individual value and selecting the multiple values using the Ctrl button. Would anyone know if that's possible with Power BI?

Thank you so much!

Hi, @newpbiuser01

You can try  smart Filter Pro by OKVizBut it doesn't seem to be free.

You can also try Filter by List which allows users to apply filter values to a report in bulk instead of having to individually check each box in the filter pane.

@newpbiuser01 , You add search from three dots and search. But Doubt it selects automatically.

You can also check the text filter - https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA104381309?src=office&tab=Overview

Hi @amitchandak,

But that would only allow us to search for each record seperately right? So, what I'm trying to implement is, the ability for a user to search for 0000,00004,00015 as an example. Depending on the user, this list can be quite long and selecting each number seperately each time would not be ideal.

Thank you for all your help!

@newpbiuser01 , I doubt that is possible with standard visual.

refer to the visual suggested here
