Slicer with Data Only
Hello All,
I need some help so that the slicer I have for departments only display's Department have actually exist in my core fact tables.
This is my slicer for department that contains about 240 departments. It comes from a dimension table I built that list all possible list of departments.
For example in this dataset, I know that only a handful of departments apply, In fact I know in my entire fact tables that only about 25 departments exist.
Is their a way to only display the department in my department slicer that exist in my current data. Thanks

HI pfarahani,
I'd like to suggest you write a measure expression as a filter to check the current category and correspond value. You can write if statement to replace not exists part as blank and use it on the visual level filter to exclude not matched records.
