I have a field 'Effort in Days', when I create a slicer based on this and it is a Dropdown or List the values are restricted by the other slicer selections. This is fine. However, when I change this to a 'Between' slicer (get the slider bar) the values are for the entire data set regardless of what other slicers values are selected. Is this a bug ?
This is easily reproducable. Create a xlsx with 3 columns, Name, City, Effort (Number), give some values and build a PBI report. Switch the Effort slicer from List or Dropdown to a Between and the values are different.

Hi,
I could see 11 slicers apart from your effort slicer. you have to do it one by one.
first select "Project Name" Slicer and then select filter in your "Between (Effort)" slider. (Once you select project slicer then you could see that your effort slider will be in "None" in edit intercation, thus you have to change it to "Filter" in edit interaction)
Once you are done with Project Name slicer, please test it and see after selecting values in Prject name whether the slider values are changing or not.
you have to repeat this step for all the other 10 slicers.

Prakash
Hi,
Thanks very much ! I've tested it and it works. Very strange why the Slider does not act the same as a dropdown, List etc.
Much apprecaited and a new feature learned !
Hi,
I found the Edit Interaction button on the Format tab. below is an example real page I need the Slider to work. I should be able to filter on any of the Slicers and the VROM Effort slider should change. All the data is from a single table. Really not sure how to do this even with the Edit Interaction button. If I change the Slider to a List it is fine.

Hi @arifsyeduk1 ,
By Default i believe the "'Between' slicer (get the slider bar)", this will be present in 'None" in edit interaction.
So you have to go to the Edit interaction and select other slicers and visuals in the page and make this "Between" slider as a "Filter" in edit interaction. It will start to get filter when you select other slicers.
It is working fine for me here.

Hi,
where is this 'Edit Interactions' ? I do not have the same small icons as you.
I'm running Version: 2.115.842.0 64-bit (March 2023)
You have to select the other slicer, once selected then you have to go to the "Format", under format you can see Edit interactions
@arifsyeduk1 select the visual and click on format as below. play around with edit interactions you will get it what you need.
