Slicer visual level filter - Select All

Hi All,

Has anyone else had an issue where using the "select all" option in a slicer that has a visual level filter?

We have noticed that the report also includes the items that have been filtered out of the slicer when this is selected which confuses users.

Would be much better if the 'select all' only referred to items visible in the slicer.

For example column A has 3 values

A = 2

B = 3

C = 4

The slicer is filtered to only show A and B so the user can see 2 or 3 or 5 in the report depending on what's selected (A, B or A & B).

Choosing 'select all' results in 9, not 5

  • Hi itchyeyeballs ,

    It is not supported to calculate aggregated values with visual level filter. You could view the total values when you use it, like pic 1. Or you could use a slicer to filter and put the column into a card visual.

    Best Regards,
