Hello Friends,
On my first page, I have a slicer that allows the user to select a possible range of dates from 'Period'[In the Last]. I have a report level filter set to Period[In the Last]. I have a relationship set up between my Period table and my Data table. On my 3rd page I have a table visualization that incudes Data[order_date] and the values listed are in the correct range of the report filter. I added a slicer to this page for Data[order_date] to allow the user to slice data within the report range. However the slicer is showing all possible dates rather than those goverend by the report filter. I do not understand why. Can you help?
Cheers!
@pkoel-asb , If you are using a range slicer , it might allow you to have dates beyond the available dates
That is what is happening. I set the report range for year-to-date, and my other slicer has selectable dates from outside that range. How do I get one slicer to adhear to a report filter?
