As Thennarasu_R mentioned you can use sync slicer and try to uncheck the slicer and check the box again, else you need to follow what Anonymous suggested. Delete the slicer that is causing issue and copy that slicer from your page 1 and paste it on page 2 again.

Repeating someone else's suggestion verbatim is unhelpful. As I said: I'd like to know if there's a way round an obvious software bug or if I have to manually go through a huge document replacing every slicer again.
