I wanted to ask about the possibility of creating a slicer - single select but without a default value. I am talking about the situation when I have single select slicer without selected value. When we have multi-select there is no selected value in the slicer window and I would like to get the same but for single select.
I need to create a slicer where the user can select only one value, but there is no selected value at the beginning.
For example, now when I set single select I have:
And I would like to have as initial view:

Agree with @AnkitKukreja . It's a default behaviour. If you select 'single select' in the slicer settings, by default, the first value is selected for you.
You may submit an idea for the unsupported feature.

This is the default behaviour of the single select slicer. You can use the slicer with multi-select and their users can multi-select with ctrl (or you can turn that off as well).
But you can try using the approach which was already answered in another post.

This unfortunately doesn't solve my problem, because I need the slicer with single-select.
When I set the slicer with multi-select and turn off the option with ctrl, the problem is not solved in Power BI.

Then the user selecting check-boxes one by one without using ctrl selects a pair (in this case dates):
