Slicer reset - drillthrough page navigation
Anonymous , Please make sure you share the drill through page without any slicer value. Check the filter in the drill through the pane and rest them.
Ideally, when you go back it should reset.
Hi Community,
I hope someone can provide a solution for my problem stated below.
I have 2 pages in my report, first page is a table with company details, you can select a company and drill into details on page 2 via a button (page navigation).
Page 2 has slicers to choose supervisors and dates, the problem is, when I drill into company A and select one supervisor (Say X) from the dropdown slicer, then navigate back (via back button), Now when I choose company B and drill into it, page 2's slicer would still have supervisor X selected.
I want the slicers on page 2 to reset everytime I navigate out of that page via back button.
Note: I'm aware of the clear all button with bookmarking, I'm looking for a way to reset slicers without the need of adding that button.

Community ChampionAnonymous Only way I would know of would be to create a bookmark with slicers cleared. Then simply have your the action of your back button be to navigate to that bookmark.

I was struggling with a similar issue. User navigates from P. 1 to P. 2 using slicer selection. Then on P. 2 there is another slicer. The issue arises when the user selects something on the slicer in P. 2, returns to P. 1 does another search and when they return to P. 2 the slicer selection is still selected, even though it would have been filtered out had it not been selected.
Adding the P. 2 slicer to as a hidden synced element of P. 1 and bookmarking it clear worked perfertly!
