Slicer (new) cant change activated color

Hello,

i like the Slicer (new). It is now possible to create narrower boxes. The old version took up quite a lot of space. But when the box is activated it is blue

It should be possible to change that color to black to be in harmony with the other boxes in old version.

Thanks.

To change the activated color of the new slicer in Power BI to match the other boxes in your report, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Slicer:

    • Click on the slicer visual in your Power BI report.
  2. Format the Slicer:

    • Go to the 'Visualizations' pane and select the 'Format' tab.
  3. Customize the Colors:

    • Under the 'Format' options, expand the 'Slicer' settings.
    • Look for options to change the background color, text color, and other styling aspects. You can set the activated color to black or any other color to maintain consistency with your report's theme.
  4. Theme Customization:

    • You can also customize your Power BI theme to apply consistent colors across your report. Go to the 'View' tab, select 'Themes,' and choose 'Customize current theme.' Here, you can adjust the color settings for slicers and other visuals.
  5. Advanced Customization:

    • For more detailed customization, including setting colors for different states (default, hover, press, selected), use the advanced formatting options in the slicer's 'Visualizations' pane. This allows you to fine-tune the appearance of your slicer to match your desired aesthetic.

By using these methods, you can achieve a cohesive look for your slicers and ensure they align with the overall design of your report.
