Slicer loads all the visuals again

Hi All,

I have a set of cards, data of which comes from table 1.

Below this i have a slicer and a table, data of which comes from table 2.

There is no relationship between table 1 and 2.

When i change the value in the slicer all the visuals load again including the cards (cards load with same value).

Is this some default functinality that all the visual in the dashboard loads irrespective of the data source ?

Can i change slicer to load only the table and not the cards ?

Hi, @Anchit_Thomas

By default, slicers on report pages affect all the other visualizations on that page, including each other. The filtered data is an intersection of the values selected in both slicers. You may use 'Edit interaction' to control which visual will be affected by a specific slicer.

For further information, you may refer to the following document.

@Anchit_Thomas

You can control it using visual interaction: please refer to this article and there are many videos on YouTube as well.
